As part of our mission to provide accessible, affordable connectivity, we’re stepping in with a Lifeline Program: a communications service designed especially to keep our eligible users connected for FREE!*

What is Lifeline?
Lifeline is a federal benefit that can save you money on your monthly phone and/or home internet service.
The Lifeline program is separate from the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) that helps low-income households pay for internet service and connected devices.
Lifeline provides discounted phone service and broadband internet access to eligible participants, ensuring they have access to essential communication tools.

Do You Qualify?
Consumers may be eligible for the federal Lifeline discount program if they
participate in a qualifying program below:
Supplemental security income (SSI)
SSDI provides monthly payments to people with disabilities. You wil only qualify for free internet, to qualify you must have SSDI not SSI.
Medical assistance (Medicaid)
Medicaid provides health insurance for people with a low income. The Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) covers children.
Veterans pension and survivors benefit programs
This program offers monthly payments to qualified surviving spouses and unmarried dependent children of wartime Veterans who meet certain income and net worth limits set by Congress.
Federal public housing assistance
This program was established to provide decent and safe rental housing for eligible low-income families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities.

SNAP/Food stamps
SNAP provides food benefits to low-income families to supplement their grocery budget so they can afford the nutritious food essential to health and well-being.

Income Eligibility
Individuals can be eligible for the Lifeline Program if their total household income is equal to or less than 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
